ETH 2024

From 29 to 31 in March, ETH Seoul was held. For a long time, I didn't get any info about crypto event. The last event I went was in july, last year. After seeing this plan in searching, I asked my team members, which I participated hackathon before together, to join the ETH Seoul hackathon. All of team member I told agree my propse. And with recommend by team member, Our team take one more member who can develop Web frontend.

We had considered seriously what project should we do in hackathon. At first, there was an idea to prevent scalper. but by blockchain, it is very hard to prevent it. And finally, we could catch good idea.

Project Picademy

In a nutshell, the project name is 'Picademy'. 'Picademy' is platoform for user to leanring korean while rewarding. How can it possible? The users who want learning other language should match the word with picture the platform show. And platform make labeled data from matched data made by users. So platform can derive profit from AI Companies which need the labeled data. By these profits, platform can divide rewards to users.

For implenting this project, we stayed all night in one day. But it was very funny time to stood all night with our team member. We can share good info each others. And there are many friends in others teams who had met before in other crypto event. It was very pleasure to talk with them.

Blockchain Lecture

At event, Vitalik had speech about what ethereum is going on. I was very exciting. The speech made me motivated beacuse I could expect ethereum can be better than before with layer-2. Among other speeches, I could find interesting protocol, like Mina Protocol and Near. Especially in Mina protocol, I was impressive for Typescript user being able to use Typescript to make contract code. And the kind community manager told me that they are going to hold a meetup for learning ZK proof. I will join the meetup.

The Result

I am very sorry that My team couldn't get any prize in this hackathon. But I can respect this result because my teams try best in restricted time. I decided that in next time, I will study very hard before hackahton and make it possible to get some prizes. I reall hope that soon. It was great time for me to reflect on myself. I should do more.
